It is only October, and we are still over a week away from the first Halloween cruises, but Christmas is fast approaching. I mentioned before that the ships will be decked to the raft-ers with holiday cheer mid-November. New this year will be a holiday merchandise collection  exclusive to the holiday sailings, which I’m hoping will include some of the custom ornaments created for the Fantasy. There are so many places to find the perfect ornament for your family to unwrap each holiday season.

Before returning to the ship, I send a postcard from the island and check out the special merchandise

“Rebel scum” is in neon red lettering on the garage door. The Imperial symbol is above a window behind figures of Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers caroling. Hallmark previewed a slew of new “Star Wars” and Marvel ornaments and other holiday decorations that will be available to purchase this July and October. The ears themselves feature a repeating pattern of various Disney Cruise Line-themed ornaments in shades of gold, red, and white.

Obi-Wan stands in front of him with his blue lightsaber pulled back. This green shirt features similar art to that of the mug and Tervis tumbler. Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy are shown getting the ship’s atrium ready for the holidays. A green banner on the top right reads, “Merry Time Cruises” in white, with the Disney Cruise Line logo included in white on the bottom right.

Connecting the piece to Hallmark’s Keepsake Power Cord turns on a continuous light. Float your boat from the family tree all through the year as a reminder of your treasured cruise on the Disney Wonder liner. You can commemorate your Merrytime Cruise with this holiday ornament, which features a captain’s hat with a sprig of holly on the brim. Two portholes act as the “ears,” and feature Captains Mickey and Minnie. The Very Merrytime Cruise Spirit Jersey is light blue with white snowflakes, and has a repeating pattern of Mickey and Friends celebrating the holidays. Disney Cruise Line is celebrating its “Very Merrytime Cruises” with a new holiday merchandise collection, including a Spirit Jersey, Tervis tumbler, ear headband, and more.

Rapunzel, who is on the stern of the Disney Wish, is painting as she lounges with Pascal on a palm tree. Fireworks go off above the ship, with a Mickey head in one and an anchor in another. Dumbo, the stern character of the Disney Fantasy, flies through the fireworks. Mickey is directing some of his magic brooms to clean the ship. Castaway Cay curves around them, with “Mount Rustmore” pictured on the left. Donald and his nephews are on a small peninsula in front of the ship with a Pixar ball.

When the button is pressed, they perform “Grim Grinning Ghosts” as they light up. When combined with the entire collection, they give additional interactive performances. This ornament features Obi-Wan and Darth Vader battling as seen in the Disney+ series “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Vader is on one knee with part of his face mask broken off.

On a recent trip, the shops had everything from spirit jerseys and T-shirts to Christmas ornaments and swimsuits. The two ornaments in this set are inspired by the helmets of Tech and Echo, two members of Clone Force 99 a.k.a. The Bad Batch. The characters were introduced in “The Clone Wars” and then received their own show. Echo’s helmet is a sleek black with “99” in Aurebesh on the forehead.
